Why are fractals sacred geometry

Wikipedia says Fractals are typically self-similar patterns, where self-similar means they are "the same from near as from far". Althought fractals seem too abstract they are one of the most common structures in the universe. Fractal structures appear everywhere: from micro to macro and from matter to spirit.

The electrons orbit the atomic nucleus; also the moons orbit the planets; the planets orbit the sun; the suns orbit around some galaxy centers; it is very possible that galaxies also orbit around some mega structures.
The main functions of one single alive cell : breathing, eating, communication with the outer world, metabolit , excreting, specializing, evolving are also the main functions of an organism; also an anology with the planet Earth's life can be made.
Geometrically, many objects in nature have fractal structures : for example leafes, trees, lightnings, many vegetables, snow flakes, flowers, even animals.

Fractals are also used in buildings and other human made structures. Ofther fractals are used in churches and other spiritual temples. The reason is that fractals structures drawn on the floors and walls create tunnels to the higher dimensions. The mathematical reason behind this is that actually the dimension of a fractal is not a natural number. It can be, for example 2.734.
